A Hardesh was a device of Goa'uld design and worn by high-ranking members of the race. When activated, it projected a kinetic shield that completely absorbed enemy weapon fire. However, due to the constraints of producing such a shield, it was limited to only 8 minutes time before the device needed to be shut off. (Stargate Resistance)
