Lanternjaws were Deepwoods creatures similar to logworms. The Lanternjaw's main food was a species of quarms called ghost quarms. They were extremely fast, capable of swooping down on their prey in the blink of an eye. Lanternjaws inhabited sumpwood stands in the Midwood Marshes.
