Crumpets was a female Scottish Terrier that Lisa Donnelly and her husband got after getting married in the 1530s PD. When they divorced, Donnelly's ex-husband got custody of the dog. When he left for a long term research assignment on the planet Sphinx in 1539 PD, he asked his ex-wife to take care of her. However, she couldn't get her regular dog-sitter and asked Travis Long if his mother, a well-known dog breeder, could take Crumpets. (MA2)
