Vax Kabila was a stormtrooper commander who served the Fel Empire, and continued serving Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, though later defected to the Empire-in-exile. During the Imperial-Sith War and the Second Imperial Civil War, Kabila commanded the 907th Stormtrooper Division. Kabila had what he described as "stormtrooper pride" and wished for an independent branch for the stormtroopers of the Empire, as in the days of Palpatine. After the Second Civil War ended in 138 ABY, he got his wish, being allowed to establish an independent Stormtrooper Corps for the Galactic Federation Triumvirate. He held the rank of general by that point.
