Burzaan was one of the Eska hunters encountered by Enterprise NX-01 on Dakala. Burzaan and the others were hunting senitent beings who were shapeshifters. He used scanners that located the beings by a chemical they emitted when they were frightened. Burzaan was injured by a wraith masquerading as a female drayjin during the hunt. He was treated by Dr. Phlox, who later used wraith cell samples from his wounds to create a "masking agent" for the indigenous wraiths. (ENT: "Rogue Planet")
