Conejo was a member of Mikey's Mi Vida Loca Theatre for ex-cons, Conejo having served time with Mikey before getting out. Conejo and Mikey then robbed a drug dealer, Don Gallego, taking $20,000 and his briefcase containing papers relating to his drug empire. Conejo and Mikey planned to sell Gallego's papers to the highest bidder to get money for the theatre, but Gallego catches Conejo, kills him, and stuffs his body into Gallego's limo trunk. Later, during the Metro-Dade raid on Gallego's funeral home cover for his crack lab, two of Gallego's goons tried to stick Conejo's body into the incinerator, but are stopped by police.
