The Proleium, like the Legionnaire has a multi hull layered system of defense. Containing only two layers, an outter thick hull and a lighter inner hull surrounding the critical systems. The bridge is also in the center of the vessel inside of the seccond layer of armor. This ship was designed to fly side by side with Legionnaire's into enemy formations or stang back and guard long range vessels from hit and run cruiser attacks.
