"Monster Up and Down" is a Sesame Street song performed by a pair of AM Monsters. A young monster boy (David Rudman) asks his father (Kevin Clash) about the difference between up and down. As the father explains, it doesn't sink in to his son. Instead, the father sings him a song he learned as a young monster, where they stretch their bodies up and down to illustrate the directions. The song was incorporated into a "Move and Groove" segment on Play with Me Sesame, where Grover dances along with the insert.
