Frigyes Helmeczi (December 19, 1913 - 1984) was a Hungarian hockey player. He played for the Hungarian National Team at the 1936 Winter Olympics, and at the World Championships in 1938 and 1939. He also played for Hungary at the 1939 Winter Universitaires, as well as the International Week of Winter Sports in 1940 and 1941. Helmeczi enjoyed a club career that spanned over 20 years. He played for BBTE Budapest up to 1944, and then bounced around various different clubs until retiring in 1954.
