SPARTAN-G257, also known as Amelio-G257 and GAMMA-257, was a SPARTAN-III Commando of Gamma Company. G257 is notable for the fact that the illegal drugs he had been administered along with the rest of Gamma Company had a lesser effect on his aggression than the others of the company and therefore could think slightly more clearly.
