Yivel was a Brunali boy living on the Brunali homeworld. He was a friend of Icheb's before Icheb was assimilated by the Borg. When he was freed from the Borg Collective and later returned to his homeworld, Yivel was happy to see his old friend again and invited him to a game of pala. Icheb couldn't remember the rules, but Yivel told him it would come back to him very quickly. (VOY: "Child's Play") Yivel was played by actor Eric Ritter.
