Nicolette Seddon was a school friend of Sophie Webster at Weatherfield High. During a history lesson in November 2005, the class traced their family trees and the two girls found out that they were distantly related - Nicolette's father being the cousin of Sophie's mother. Kevin and Sally subsequently banned Sophie from seeing Nicolette again. Credited by Christian name only, the family's surname was given as "Seddon" in dialogue during Episode 6180.
