This Alteran woman 2 was a female Alteran. She was one of those who left their home galaxy with their ship. She argued passionately against the use of the Ark of Truth as a weapon against Ori, pointing out that the Alterans believed in understanding the world not through interference or violence but through observation and debate, and most of all freedom of will. She staunchly refused to give up the tenets of her devotion simply to preserve that devotion. She also doubted that ability of the Alterans to successfully fight off the Ori, citing their low numbers in comparison to the Ori's growing ranks. (SG1: "The Ark of Truth")
