David is a Yorkshire Terrier and formerly the pet dog of Mrs Moss, an old lady who was a regular at Audrey's salon. David's owner passed away and left the dog in her will to hairdresser David Platt, after whom he was named, along with £20,000. David now lives with the Platts at 8 Coronation Street.
