The Ministry of Protection of Imperial Loyalty is the government agency on Barrayar headed by the Minister of Protection of Imperial Loyalty. The Ministry is in charge of Barrayar's high police. The Ministry works in liaison and in competition with the Imperial Security, although it is more focused on vigilance against bureaucratic corruption and, from a general point of view, it is focused on sensitive vigilance over common society more than proper espionage.
