Cunningham, using his website WikiWikiWeb, promoted the concept of Wikis during the 1990s. However, Cunningham's creation became more famous than he did; the two influential encyclopedias of the Fourth World War were wikis: the Proletarian Encyclopedia and Wikipedia. After the Soviet invasion of Cascadia, Cunningham fled to the Midwestern Federal Republic to escape financial ruin by the war.
