Brigadier General Havenstrite was a hardened male Human New Republic military officer who was in command of a brigade of the Alliance Special Forces. He held a low opinion of non-Humans and took a no-nonsense approach to political matters. He viewed Commander Toryn Farr as naive and foolish for considering the bounty hunter Zuckuss as an associate, thinking the Gand to have ulterior motives.
