Jennifer van der Putte was a human female on active service in Starfleet in the early 25th century. Van der Putte was Tesjha Phohl's roommate at Starfleet Academy. The Andorian was later the maid of honor at her wedding. In 2410 van der Putte was the chief engineer of the USS Lumbee, assigned to the Third Fleet. During the Iconian War the fleet was en route to an unnamed objective when it went out of contact. USS Enterprise responded and found that the entire fleet had been destroyed in a Herald attack; there were no survivors. (Bait and Switch: "All In")
