The Twisted Rancor Trio was a highly successful musical group from Taris. It was first formed during the Jedi Civil War but never got a career going due to the band being obliterated during the Sith bombardment. Four-thousand years later, a mention of the band was found in a history datapad by a student on Taris by the name of Sucram Rein. He had been searching for a name or his band and decided to use this one. The group's popularity increased over the years, finally culminating in their album Slow-mo Life, which sold over ten billion copies galaxywide in just one standard day. After this, the band decided to split up, due to their belief that if they kept going then their popularity would decrease. The members remained good friends for the rest of their lives.
