Kaddus was a male pan-human who lived in the Vreccile Economic Community (VEC). He was a member of Bright Path and Wrobik Sennkil's creditor. Kaddus and Cruizell were sent to leverage Sennkil's gambling debts to recruit the former Culture citizen for a Bright Path plot. In return for the cancellation of all debts and additional money Sennkil would use the weapon to shoot down a returning starship in Vreccis City carrying the VEC's Admiral of the Fleet. Later Cruizell kidnapped Maust, Sennkil's lover, to force compliance.
