The Proa Federation was an alliance of business, mostly located in the Outer Rim, that supported monopolies and opposed corporations. Consisting mostly of monopolies and privately-owned companies, the Proa Federation participated in the Great Alliance War on the side of the Triple Tsad. As a member of the Triple Tsad, the Proa Federation was charged with funding the entire war effort. Spending over eighty billion credits, the Proa Federation was the richest faction in the galaxy. Its rival was the Union of Free Businesses.
