On the 2002 release, after watching the first four episodes, a Sonic Quiz comes up with a number of questions about the plots and characters from the episodes. If the viewer answers the questions correctly they are rewarded with another episode, "Sonic and the Secret Scrolls". According to the official NCircle Entertainment Website, this episode is not present on the 2008 release.
