Sooty & Co. have their own computer. Unfortunately, they can't get it to work so Matthew goes back to the shop he bought it from for some help. Meanwhile, Matthew asks Scampi and Sweep to make an inventory but he doesn't expect them to make a list of the mice in the attic. Downstairs, whilst Matthew is at the computer shop, a rather strange man named Professor Oddbod arrives at the shop. He wants his "cyber placer" fixed. A cyber placer can transport anyone, or anything, that presses the red button on it's top, the only snag being that they can't control where they go. Meanwhile, one of the mice Scampi and Sweep are trying to count escapes into the shop and gives Soo quite a fright! Back downstairs, Professor Oddbod has the computer working.
