The Ghost Nebula was a nebula and a sector located in the Expansion Region of the galaxy. Within it rested the Umbara system, which contained the planet Umbara, homeworld of the Umbaran species. Despite the occluding space cloud isolating them from the rest of the galaxy, the Umbarans were able to engineer advanced energy weaponry and anti-gravity systems that exceeded galactic standards.
