The Alabama Crimson Tide women's basketball program represents the University of Alabama in the sport of women's basketball. The team competes in the Southeastern Conference and National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are coached by Wendell Hudson, the first African-American student-athlete ever to play a sport at Alabama (1969–1973). He was also an SEC Player of the Year during his time as a player for the Crimson Tide.
