In the 2360s, the Hegh'ta was under the command of Captain Kurn. During Kurn's service aboard, the Hegh'ta once equipped photon torpedoes with shield generators and used them as mines to thwart an enemy. In 2376, Kurn (now known as Rodek) remembered the details of this engagement, despite his memories as Kurn being blocked.
