Janice Avery is an antagonist from the novel Bridge to Terabithia and its 2007 movie adaptation. She is a slightly fat 7th grader (8th grader in the film) who bullies younger children at school. She is portrayed by Bridget Ryan in 1985 movie and by Lauren Clinton in 2007 version.
