The Xhinzi (Taxonomically Alis impios; dubbed Buggers by humans) are a race of insectoids native to the planet Zhee, quite far from Interstellar Union territory, and most recognized for their galactic rule. They were a competitive species that considered themselves superior to all others without reason. They lived relatively short lives compared to other species, yet featured a large population. They denied the Interstellar Union, and all of its client races. Instead, they remained loyal to their own exclusive empire. Although they hadn't announced war on humans, unjustified conflict wasn't uncommon.
