Team Kunai was a SPARTAN-III gamma company five man team that participated in the Battle of Earth in 2552 alongside many of their brothers and sisters. The is renown for almost making it into the finals for the position of company command team during their stay on Onyx. The team eventually dissolved after the Human-Covenant was ended. Some of the members joined ONI task forces while most of them joined the newly formed Spartan branch as both instructors and as team leaders for the new SPARTAN-IV fireteams.
