Allya Pallopides was a Human female descendent of Ederlathh Pallopides, a niece of Emperor Palpatine. She served in the Empire-in-exile faction of the Galactic Federation Triumvirate around 167 ABY. Being aware of her relation to Palpatine, Allya felt that she deserved the throne. The One Sith Remnant fueled her belief of that upon their return, and backed her when she committed a coup against the Fel dynasty. Allya became the Empress, and created the Galactic Imperium. After a year of tensions with the successor government of the rest of the Triumvirate, the Third Republic, she declared war.
