The ranger is the second tier upgraded unit of the Knight faction, recruited from upgraded archery ranges built in Knight towns. They are the upgraded version of the archer. The ranger may fire their bow twice in a single attack, meaning that while their number of shots have been doubled from the archer, they will effectively last about as long. The ranger is faster than the archer, allowing them to attack earlier, and their second strike effectively doubles their offensive prowess.
