Barry Smith (b. on August 21 1952 in Buffalo, New York, United States) is a professional coach who is the current head coach of SKA St. Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League. Smith enjoyed a long and fruitful career in the National Hockey League behind the benches of the Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Penguins, Detroit Red Wings, Phoenix Coyotes, every time as an assistant coach.
