Ed Massey is a former NASCAR driver from Birmingham, AL. He competed in six Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten. Massey's debut came in 1951, when he competed at North Wilkesboro. Starting positions in the field of twenty-eight are unknown, but Massey ran a very respectable race and drove to a 15th place finish. He improved to a career-best 10th place outing at Columbus before ending the year with a mid-pack 21st place run at Columbia. Massey's next race came in 1953, when he raced at Atlanta. It was another solid run for the driver, racing his way to 13th.
