An Ore Eater is a goren battle pet, belonging to the Humanoid family. It can be obtained through the use of a Red Goren Egg, which has a 0.27% chance to drop from a Goren Protector, which occasionally appear while mining in Draenor. They also spawn in the Garrison mine, so you do not have to have the mining skill to obtain it.
