The Dorsal Killer was a modified YT-1930 freighter that was used as a bounty hunter ship. After the Hutt Sonnos placed a bounty on the Human Deggar Feps, Feps attempted to flee to the moon Nar Shaddaa aboard the Dartiss-5 Caravel Lost Lady. However, the spy droid NEK-01 tracked Feps to the ship and one of the droid's minions, the protocol droid NEK-072, activated a homing beacon calling for all nearby bounty hunters to attack the Lost Lady. The Dorsal Killer received the message and attacked the Lost Lady in the Y'Toub system.
