Marlowe Trading Post was a terran settlement, seemingly located near Gohbus and Torus. It appeared to be heavily populated. "Mutt", a smuggler, made a living there. In 2500, a wrangler named Randall came to Mutt looking for information on the escaped psionic terran Colin Phash. He shot Mutt's assistant, and strapped a bomb to Mutt, which would detonate if Randal died. Mutt gave him what information he knew on Phash, and left Mutt to question what would happen when Randall left the bomb's signal range.
