Image:Besieged (Status Effect).png Besieged is a that is gained when you are temporarily conscripted by the Imperial Army, to help when the city comes under attack from Beastmen forces. This status effect lasts until either the beastmen retreat or capture the Astral Candescence, or you zone out of Al Zahbi. Benefiting characters may participate in the besieged battle, by either attacking the invading forces, or healing the defending ones. Characters under the besieged "effect" will lose no experience if they die, and provided they are alive (and are a Mercenary) by the time the enemy forces retreat, they will receive experience points and Imperial Standing based on their level of participation.
