[Source] Fambaa sonic cannons were heavy military weapons deployed by Gungans. They were named after the fambaa, large creatures indigenous to Naboo. The cannons moved under their own power, folded up into a compact snail-like shape. Deployed on the battlefield, they unfolded to reveal dozens of high-yield boomas, which it hurled with its immense biomechanical power into enemy fortresses.
