Ruiz later worked as a Breaker in Algul Siento. He was nearly killed by Roy Depape, but was rescued by Roland Deschain, Cuthbert Allgood, and Alain Johns. He later died due to blood poisoning caused by a cut on his foot during the assault on Blue Heaven.
