Gundam: Originally it was used to describe the RX-78-2 Earth Federation Mobile Suit piloted by Amuro Ray, but later it becomes a Mobile Suit class, I.E Gundam-Class Mobile Suits or Mobile Gundams. In later series' it becomes a basis for different types such as the OS for the 1st and 2nd Gundam-Class Mobile Suits in Gundam SEED/SEED Destiny. In Gundam Wing it's used to describe the Mobile Suits built using Gundanium alloy, finally in the Gundam 00 it's used to describe Mobile Suits used by main characters.
