Clark Canyon was a gorge on Earth passing through the states of California and Montana. After Earth Starfleet Captain Erika Hernandez and her fellow Columbia officers were stranded on Axion following the destruction of Erigol, Caeliar scientist Inyx suggested that architect Edrin could create a holographic chamber to simulate therapeutic environments for the humans; Hernandez insisted that holograms could not stand in for rock climbing in Clark Canyon.
