In the early eighties he founded TinyTech Plants, with a plan to promote micro enterprises in various industrial fields. Besides manufacturing small conventional fuel energy systems, they market a variety of solar cookers, as well as a solar thermal power plant, wind turbines, and wind mills. Through these efforts, they have seen their projects stimulate rural development, with the goal of creating local self-reliance and eradicating poverty.
