The Star of Knapford is a Christmas decoration that supposedly grants wishes. Thomas was once given the job of transporting the star from Brendam Docks to Knapford, but instead of going straight there, he finds his friends and invites them to make a wish on the star. Soon, the star is damaged by Thomas' bad decisions and has to be repaired. Thomas finally takes the star to Knapford where his friends reveal that their wishes did come true. They all wished to be under the big bright star together.
