Roselyn Karpowski is a detective with the New York Police Department who appeared in Season 2 of Castle, in the episodes "The Double Down" and "When the Bough Breaks". In the episode, "Secret Santa", Karpowski took over (off camera) the shift that Beckett had volunteered for, allowing Beckett to go to Castle's for Christmas.
