The Las Vegas Wranglers are a professional ice hockey team based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Wranglers were founded in 2002 as an expansion team in the West Coast Hockey League to begin for the 2003–04 season. The WCHL was absorbed by the East Coast Hockey League to form the ECHL and the Wranglers along with the former members of the WCHL were awarded expansion franchises in the ECHL. They are a member of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the ECHL. The Wranglers have played all eight of their seasons at the Orleans Arena, which is attached to the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.
