Stanley Carl "Bulldog" Jonathan (born September 5, 1955 in Ohsweken, Ontario) is a retired native ice hockey left winger. He played junior hockey with the Peterborough Petes from 1972 to 1975. He was with that team when they represented Canada at the 1st 1974 World Junior Championship, Jonathan was picked 103rd overall by the Boston Bruins in the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft. He turned pro that year, helping the Dayton Gems win the Turner Cup. He became a Bruin regular the following season. He was known as a tough, gritty player who could also score - the perfect player for coach Don Cherry.
