Vaati Barriers are objects from The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. They are similar in shape to Vaati (in his demonic form) and can always be found in groups of four. An electrical charge, which can damage Link, flows through each barrier and also to the Seven Maidens' crystals. When all four eyes have been slashed with the Four Sword, the barriers explode, allowing Link to progress to the next stage. The only exception to this is in the final stage, Palace of Winds, in which they guard the room where Vaati lies. Link must collect at least 2,000 Force Gems in each stage to destroy the Vaati Barriers.
