(Jeremy) Roger Evans (born 1964) is a barrister and former Conservative Party member of the London Assembly. He was Deputy Mayor of London from 2015-16. Born in Lancashire, he moved to London in 1987 and was a member of Waltham Forest London Borough Council from 1990-2002. He was elected in 1990 as a councillor for Valley ward, Chingford and held the seat in 1994 and 1998. In 2002 he contested the Cann Hall ward, but was not elected. In 2006 he was elected to Havering London Borough Council to represent Elm Park Ward, holding the seat at the 2010 elections, he did not defend it in 2014.
