Bruce Grocery was born in Greenwood and raised there all his life. At an unknown age, his father handed him the keys to the family business. It is unknown in the series if Mr. Grocery is married still, but at one point he had to be married because he has a daughter, Lauren Homestead, who is now married to Larry Homestead. There has been no mention of his wife, which makes people believe he is either divorced, or she has passed on. Mr. Grocery does not wear a wedding ring. Mr. Grocery is said to be somewhere in his fifties or early sixties. His age is never said in the series.
