""Flavius I or Flavius the Great"" (505?-572) was one of the greatest generals and statesmen in history. Originally asked by Justinian I, the Emperor of the Eastern Empire with reconquering much of the Western Roman Empire that had been lost the century before. Unexpectedly Belisarius accepted the title of Western Roman Emperor from the Ostrogoth's in 540. His dynasty would rule the Western Empire for 500 years and bring new life to the once proud Empire.
